The Party Starts at SOMO

SOMO offers an impressive deal not only once but twice in a day. While most establishments only offer ‘before dinner’ happy hours, the restaurant lets you enjoy their extensive bar list on discounted price twice. It was Morrissey’s idea to offer twice-a-day happy hours based on his experience that he was always drawn to restaurants with robust drink menus and kitchens that serve food late past the usual 5:00 pm happy hours. He wants SOMO to be open and accessible for everyone until past midnight. This offer proves to be a hit in the neighborhood. SOMO’s regulars love it and has been very well received.

SOMO’s ‘Afterwork Happy Hour’ is from Monday to Friday, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Enjoy half price on drafts and Well cocktails and $3 off on all specialty drinks. All snacks bar at $5. You can also visit their ‘Late Night Happy Hour’ from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 pm.

The restaurant also serves brunch on weekends. Speaking of brunch, this meal might be a considered a fad – a sort millennial movement in trendy larger cities like Dubai, New York, and Chicago – but this social experience is here to stay. Happening between breakfast and lunch – and most of the time extended until late afternoon – this trend seems to begin in 2004, although doing a little bit of research shows that it was already on the mainstream ever since 1985. And with 71% of Americans wish restaurants served breakfast all-day, this part of the meal considered a bonding ritual and a social pastime for many, we bet that ‘brunching’ is here to stay.

Join SOMO’s Saturday and Sunday brunch days. From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, order a meal and enjoy delicious bottomless mimosas for $26. Enjoy Huevos Rancheros (corn tortillas, chorizo gravy, pico de gallo, roasted potatoes with sunny side up eggs) or just plain but delectable SOMO Classic (two eggs, breakfast meat, fries, and toast). If you’re looking for the quintessential millennial meal then don’t forget to order SOMO’s avocado toast with a fried egg and smoked salmon and don’t forget to hashtag #mimosaswiththesquad.

The restaurant can seat 50+ people with 16 seats at the bar. For private parties, SOMO accepts reservation and you’ll have the roomy dining room on the lower level all for you and your guests.
